We Are Back In Person!!!

We are very excited to welcome you back to in-person, open-air Shabbat services in our beautiful courtyard (weather permitting of course!) beginning Friday, May 14th! We cannot wait to see everyone face to face. We know that not everyone is comfortable gathering just yet, so services will continue to be available on Zoom. If you do come to in-person services, masks will be required, and chairs will be appropriately socially distanced.

Whether you attend in person or via Zoom, we will be using our Reform Siddur, Mishkan T’filah, Shabbat Edition. If the weather allows us to have services in the courtyard, we will not be providing an onscreen visual T’filah. If you would like to follow along with our liturgy, you will need a physical copy of Mishkan T’filah. You can pick up a copy at TBC (see below for pick up times and deposit requirements), or you can access the free Flipbook version or the downloadable Kindle edition.

If you would like to pick up a copy of the Mishkan T’filah, we have set up 2 different pick-up times as follows:

  • At our Jazz Concert and Havdalah Under the Stars in the TBC parking lot on Saturday May 1st between 6:30-9:30pm. We will have a table there with prayer books!
  • At TBC on Friday May 7th between 3-5pm.

Whenever you choose to come, you will need to leave a deposit (check payable to TBC) in the amount of $36 for EACH book you check out. We will hold your deposit until the return of your book(s) by High Holidays. Upon returning your book(s) you may opt to take your deposit back or leave it as a charitable contribution to TBC!

If inclement weather is forecast for any given Friday evening, we will make the call to move to a fully virtual service by Thursday afternoon and send out an eblast communication. (Please pray for good weather!)

*  To make our new in-person services a success, we need volunteers! *
We will provide more information plus an opportunity
to sign up in next week's Chailites.
