Membership Renewal Packages

Membership packages have been sent out to all members, so please check your mailboxes! We have a quick turnaround this year and need them back by July 31st at the latest because the High Holidays are so early this year. You only need to mark up any changes you want to make on the single page of amounts due that has your family name at the top, and decide how you want to pay (installments vs all at once). If you’ve had a change in bank account and want installments, you need to fill out that form as well. If you need dues relief, click here to download the form.

We apologize that two extra unrelated pages were incorrectly attached to the back of the stapled package - please disregard these.

Religious School Registration Due Friday July 16!

It is time to register your child for religious school! We are focused on creating a curriculum-rich atmosphere filled with the joy of Jewish life and learning that will strengthen our sense of community and spark the curiosity, imagination and creativity of every student. After a year of online learning, we are so excited to welcome our entire TBC Religious School Family back into our building, and we look forward to engaging parents and members of our community in family education programs and opportunities to learn together both inside and outside of our temple walls throughout the year.

Over the summer we will be thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing and reorganizing our entire school building to ensure the health and safety of all our learners and faculty. We will be closely monitoring and following all current CDC and CT state Covid-19 guidelines and will be in communication in mid-late August regarding masking protocols for the start of classes.

To ensure that we are properly staffed to accommodate all our students, I ask that you take the necessary time to fully complete the registration form which is linked here no later than Friday July 16th.

Rise Against Hunger 2021 - Fundraising

Wi-Act is once again organizing a Rise Against Hunger event, and TBC is participating as we have for many years. The different faith institutions collect monetary donations to cover the cost of the food we package. RAH buys the supplies at a reduced rate needed for the meal packaging. Volunteers gather to package individual meals that get packed and brought back to RAH for distribution around the world. The date is October 23, 2021 to be held at the Wilton Episcopal Presbyterian Complex (WEPCO)We are asking members of Temple B’nai Chaim to please donate to the Tzedakah Fund designating RAH as the recipient. This is a wonderful event that brings the community together, something much needed after the last year. It will be done in a safe manner so that everyone feels comfortable.
