Selichot Experience at TBC - Saturday, September 9, 7:30 pm

With Cantor Lilah Sugarman and Cantor Harriet Dunkerley

There will be Havdalah, desert, text study and guided meditation at 7:30 pm; a candlelit Selichot Service at 8:30.

About Selichot: "Selichot, prayers for forgiveness, are ancient prayers already mentioned in the Mishnah. They originated as prayers for fast days. The Mishnah describes public fast days and the order of prayer for such occasions as featuring a series of exhortations that end with the words 'He will answer us,' recalling the times in Jewish history when God answered those who called upon Him."

TBC Social Action - Antisemitism/Kulanu Action Group Update

On Sunday December 3, at 9:00 am, a new learning series will start at TBC. The first topic, geared toward adults, is called "Brave Conversations".

As described by the ADL: "Jewish adults will learn and practice the skills to respond to antisemitic comments and jokes. A trained ADL facilitator will help you feel empowered to interrupt and redirect these challenging conversations."

Put it on your calendars now!

On subsequent Sundays through 2024 there will be additional educational/interactive programs targeted toward adults and Religious School students, so that the material is always age-appropriate.

Erev Rosh Hashanah Service is September 15, 7:30 pm!

Yahrzeit Memorial Plaques

When remembering loved ones who have passed away, we invite you to commemorate their lives and blessings with a memorial plaque for the TBC wall of remembrance. Ordering information is available here.
