Each special Cowboy or Cowgirl will partner up with one of the PRCA Cowboys or Cowgirls that is competing that day in the rodeo. These fearless duos fly around barrels on green broke stick horses, rope stubborn steers and ride a wild hayseed horse and bull. All children who participate in the Challenged Buckaroos Rodeo receive mementos including a Cowboy Hat, T-shirt and bandanna
. To remember this whirlwind of a rodeo a photo is taken with their host Cowboy or Cowgirl, the Miss Rodeo San Dimas, Miss Rodeo California or other local Rodeo Royalty.

Each year at Sunday's performance, they host a Challenged Buckaroo event
for special needs children.

"The Challenged Buckaroo Rodeo is an opportunity for some very special kids to Cowboy-Up and Rodeo! Experience the excitement of meeting real cowboys and cowgirls and cheered on by their fans in the arena and in the grandstands. It is a wonderful way for rodeo fans and the Rodeo Committee to give a great day to some great kids." ---
