Lay Network Update
Due to health/aging related issues and a decrease in active members, the CCCR Board and Council of the Baptized are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain leadership.
This last month, 3 Board members - Bruce Leier, Patty Thorsen and one of the original founders - Paula Ruddy have resigned. The Council of the Baptized has also had some resignations and the Open Forums have had fewer participants in the last few months.
CCCR believes that all Baptized are called to responsibility and we will continue to focus on our mission: "To build trust and accountability into our archdiocese and welcome everyone to the table in the spirit of Vatican II." However, if we are to continue, we need your help.
Some of our needs:
People to participate in Open Forums.
            People with writing skills
People with marketing skills
People with technical skills to redesign and maintain our website
People with accounting and finance skills
People who are willing to donate financially
People with fund raising skills in order to hire an Executive Director

For the last ten years many of you have contributed to this organization and you have made a big difference. Together, we have written many position papers, provided education through Open Forums and stimulated action plans among the people. The CCCR Board and CoB honor your efforts and will continue to honor what you bring to make this a vibrant reform organization as we look to the future.

What can you bring to the table? What would you like to see happen to make our efforts more effective with your participation? What is your ability right now to contribute to ongoing efforts?
Please let us know how you would like to help in this mission by contacting us at or call 952-451-6947.
