Of the largest cities in the St. Louis metro, only 4 in St. Charles County grew in population - St. Louis Business Journal

Only four of the St. Louis metro area's largest municipalities increased their populations from 2020 to 2022 and they are all within St. Charles County, according to estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau. The biggest gain was in Wentzville, where population increased by 6%, from 44,571 to 47,197.

ST CHARLES, Mo. - The St. Charles City Council on Tuesday approved a one-year moratorium on new residential permits for short-term rentals. Councilmembers voted 8-2 to approve the moratorium, which would apply to rentals of 30 days or less and go into effect June 17.

O'Fallon proposes use of federal funds for the Route K & N Intersection Improvements

According to the city of O'Fallon, the intersection of routes K and Route N is one of the worst performing intersections in the city. The St. Peters Board of Aldermen unanimously approved a bill to authorize Phase 2 of the Route 370 Interchange Ramp Project at Salt River Road at its meeting on May 11. Clover Development of Williamsville, New York, is hoping to build a four-story senior living facility with 124 units, according to plans submitted to the city of O'Fallon, Missouri.
