New Tailored Communications Tool Coming Soon!
Concise & Tailored Communications Coming Soon

Your Chamber has listened to feedback on communications and works hard to respect our members' time and privacy.  The Chamber  will soon begin a texting service, KENECT, to communicate with members,
on a permission only basis and tailored to your interests.  It turns out that a  lot of folks appreciate text communication:  89% of consumers would prefer to interact with businesses via Text Messaging rather than a phone call

We'll send you only the kind of Chamber and business information you are interested in, and only during business hours.  Communications will be brief and customized to your needs and interests.

Why Texting?
  • it is brief and to-the-point.
  • it's read in real-time.
  • it's viewed sooner than email because it shows up quickly.
  • Responding is much easier with brief messaging!
Be on the lookout for more information on our KENECT texting service!

Chamber 101 - Maximize Your Membership!

Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Longview Chamber office 410 N Center St

Creating a Culture of Health:  Angela Gaffney in Longview
"Health is not about perfection, it's all about progression."
Angela will be visiting Longview July 31st and August 1st to meet with members, share more information on how they could support the health initiatives of your organization, and explore ways to partner for success.  If you're interested in meeting with Angela during her trip to Longview, please click this link, and share your contact information.  Angela's teammate Katie will follow up to schedule time for the two of you to connect.

Maximizing Your Investment Dollars
Why just buy advertising when there is so much more you can do to develop your company's brand?

Advertising is great,...but public relations and community affairs build relationships. Sponsoring events and programs through the Longview Chamber of Commerce includes all three branding strategies in one effective multifaceted strategy.

Sponsoring these events and programs gives your company the publicity and brand recognition you need in a positive and receptive environment. Business leaders recognize and appreciate companies that help them gain knowledge and make important contacts.
The 2019 Total Resource Campaign is kicking off soon. The Campaign will run until November 6.

What is TRC?

The Total Resource Campaign (TRC) is a volunteer driven effort to create marketing and strategic partnerships with members.  Over 80 volunteers reach out to many of the 1,100 plus Longview Chamber members to help them determine how to effectively use marketing dollars to support the programs of the Chamber that support their business interests. The dollars secured during the TRC are used to support the strategic plan of the Longview Chamber of Commerce through its advocacy and programming efforts, R.E.A.C.H.

Without these dollars, representation at the state and national level with the area's legislators would not be possible. The dollars also allow the Chamber to provide quality training programs in Longview to minimize its members' training costs.

If you interested in volunteering or supporting this year's TRC, please contact Stephanie Raudales

This year's sponsorship opportunities will soon be updated online for members to view.

Celebrating Success - Groundbreaking

The Longview Chamber of Commerce can help members with Groundbreakings!

We've had some questions on this over the past months, and we wish to let our members know that we are here to help with your groundbreaking.

We provide the shovels and give guidance in the event preparation.  AAON Coil has scheduled a Groundbreaking Ceremony for August 15th at 9 am. Chamber members are invited to attend!

Chamber Classic Volunteer Sign-up

The Classic will be held once again at The Pinecrest Country Club on Friday, October 4, 2019. Volunteers needed for shifts throughout the day. Wear your company logo and promote your business while you serve!
