Agri-Business Committee serves Ice Cream
The Yankton Chamber Agri-Business Committee served ice cream during the 4-H Achievement Days at the 4-H Ice Arena on Friday, August 4.  Attendees took advantage of the tasty treat while viewing the many projects and livestock judging.

School's just around the corner

School is just around the corner and the Chamber would like to welcome back the teachers with a cup of coffee!  The Welcome Back Coffees will be served to the Yankton School District teachers, the Sacred Heart school teachers and the Mount Marty staff during August.   Go to the Chamber Business & Networking calendar at  www.yanktonsd.com

Also, remember with school starting, children will be walking and riding bicycles on our city streets.  Please watch for them, drive safely!  They are Yankton's future!

Seeking Volunteers 


The Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau are actively seeking volunteers to assist with the activities and logistics during the two day Live Production for Fireball Run that will be taking place in Yankton!  


Volunteers will be assisting with items such as (but not limited to): 

  • Parking Guides 
  • Check In Tables 
  • Assistance with Equipment 
  • Boat Operators
  • Photographers/Videographers/Drone Operators
  • Field Coordinators 
  • Runners & Assistants   


We are also hoping to have a LARGE crowd at the starting line, on 2nd and Walnut, from 7am - 9:30am on September 29 to send off the Fireballers, cheer on Team Yankton and showcase the vibrancy and energy of our community.


We have already requested assistance from Yankton Public Schools, Mt. Marty College as well as other civic organizations but the more the merrier, so please consider this your invitation to join in on the festivities.
