Last week, the Board announced that executive director Jennifer Liggett is leaving the Covington Chamber to accept an opportunity with one of our members. Jennifer joined the Chamber in May 2017 and, with her experience, excitement and enthusiasm, has fearlessly taken the organization to the next level. She has strengthened the Chamber's relationship with the City of Covington, grown membership, and brought the Chamber closer together as a business community committed to serving Covington businesses and residents.
Local business professional and Chamber member Dana Neuts, owner of Virtually Yourz, has been appointed by the board to serve as the interim executive director. Neuts is a writer, editor and marketing professional with more than a decade of nonprofit experience. Jennifer will train Dana to get her up to speed before her last day, February 25.

They are studying the balance of business needs and government regulation, while trying to learn more about business owners themselves. Survey results are available to anyone participating. Ahead of time, thank you for your help with this project. The students were excited to put this together and are anxious to see results. Bryan gave fellow member Barry Gourley of Children's Therapy Center a call and let us know all about it:
"I had a great conversation with Barry Gourley, CEO of Children's Therapy Center. CTC has 4 locations in the South Sound Area, including Kent, Maple Valley/Black Diamond, Burien and Tacoma. Barry's team consists of 180 staff members which serves over 3,000 children with special needs, across 19 school districts. Children's Therapy Center has navigated the challenges of the last 12 months well, and Barry said he appreciates the support of Jennifer and the Covington Chamber!"
THANK YOU BARRY AND BRYAN FOR CONNECTING AND BEING PART OF #memberme2we
#MemberMe2We visits are a great way for us to connect with each other. Set aside time for a phone or video chat to get to know each other and share more about your organization -- and don't forget to tell us all about it. Send us your stories and photos, so we can share on our Facebook page.

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center turns 100!
|
|
This year, Auburn Medical Center celebrates 100 years of caring for our community. We’re so proud to celebrate this milestone with you, and we thank you for trusting us with your care.
This is a year-long celebration with our community, and we hope you’ll join us – either by sharing your story of exceptional care, reading our history or looking through our photos, we’ve got a year of fun-filled opportunities to engage with us.
The hospital was founded by two doctors and has grown to a regional medical center connected to the largest, not-for-profit, community-based, locally owned health system in the state of Washington. We’ll continue to invest in the health of our community and continue to grow our services because our commitment to our mission — Partnering for Healing and a Healthy Future — and our dedication to the health of those we serve remains constant and unwavering.
We have been honored to care for you and your loved ones. Cheers to you, and cheers to the next 100 years!
