Help spread the word about tools and resources to help all of us manage our emotional health.  And, as employers and leaders, it starts with validating the emotions of those in your communities and promoting strategies for well-being and self-care. (...) Self-care is not just the responsibility of us as individuals, it is also the responsibility of the places we work, and the communities we live in.  So please, share these resources with employers, neighbors, friends, family, and more!:

Your voice. Your workforce. Your future. Business and Higher Education Roundtable.
Thursday, Dec. 3rd, 2020
9:00 am to 11:00 am
RSVP by Monday, Nov. 30th to receive the zoom link and log in information. Email info@kentchamber.com with questions.
Event Description: The link between business success and education could not be stronger and more inter-dependent then right now. What goes on in the classrooms, trade shops and technology labs will help determine whether our region’s economy continues to grow and benefit all communities and industry sectors.
That is why we need you at the table – a roundtable to be exact – to talk about the workforce issues facing businesses and to focus on how community and technical colleges can better prepare people with the skills they need to succeed in today’s economy.
I hope you can join us, business leaders from our region, and Dr. Suzanne Johnson, President of Green River College, Dr. John Mosby, President of Highline College, Dr. Kevin McCarthy, President of Renton Technical College, state lawmakers, and representatives from the State Board of Community & Technical Colleges, for an interactive discussion.

Please remember that COVID-19 updates are fluid and ever changing. Make sure to follow credible sources of information and always fact check. If you have questions please contact us so that we may direct you to the correct source and provide up to date information: info@covingtonchamber.org
