From King County Public Health: One-third of Washingtonians reported feeling anxious or on edge most days. Calls to the King County Crisis Line were up 21% in July 2020 as compared to July 2019. (...) Help spread the word about tools and resources to help all of us manage our emotional health.  And, as employers and leaders, it starts with validating the emotions of those in your communities and promoting strategies for well-being and self-care. (...) Self-care is not just the responsibility of us as individuals, it is also the responsibility of the places we work, and the communities we live in.  So please, share these resources with employers, neighbors, friends, family, and more!:

·       Crisis Connections provides many resources and support for anxiety, loneliness, recovery, and more. Language interpretation in more than 155 languages is available. Call 866-427-4747 or text HOME to 741741 for support.

·       The Boys Town National Hotline is a free resource and counseling service that assists youth and parents 24/7, year round, nationwide. Spanish-speaking counselors and translation services for more than 100 languages also are available 24 hours a day. Call 1-800-448-3000, text VOICE to 20121, or email to connect.

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling empowers Veterans by offering an eco-friendly residential and commercial junk removal business opportunity. Call on JDog to come haul away old items of all kinds. They send a uniformed team of dedicated workers to provide transparent pricing, remove your junk, dispose of it responsibly, and tidy up afterward, all so you don’t have to do a thing.
If you need it gone, they can do it. They donate or recycle 60% to 80% of what they haul, so you know your items are being handled responsibly and can often be used by a family in need. Here’s a short list of the items they haul (The only thing they don’t haul away is hazardous waste): appliances, furniture, carpet, scrap metal, yard waste, estate items, computers, debris, mattresses, clothing, tv’s and MORE!
In addition to serving the community, they also support Military veterans by offering them job opportunities. The JDog team is mission driven and is committed to Respect, Integrity, and Trust! They follow the principles of hard work, dedication, and community service. Each JDog Junk Removal & Hauling location is owned by a Veteran or a Veteran’s family member. They also pride themselves in employing many Veterans, helping them find stability in civilian life after serving our country. JDog is a nationally recognized brand known for their Military work ethic and employment of Veterans.
