BETTER 'LINKED' TOGETHER

Every year we send out to you in the mail or personally deliver an activity for a team-builder with the chamber and our community! This week we started our Better "Linked" Together activity! Don't forget to open up that magic envelope because you'll also find a certificate to pickup your 2 FREE cupcakes from Gracene's Cupcake Boutique (no purchase necessary) to celebrate our upcoming Chamber birthday ... the big 2-8!!!! We can't wait to see your "LINKS"!

Covington and Maple Valley are conducting a study to understand and plan for the community’s indoor recreational needs. The Re-Create and Recreate project encourages all residents to get involved in defining the future of recreation in the area.

Opportunities for participation will follow a public process that will be led by a citizen steering committee. The steering committee will meet this fall and spring to work towards a consensus among balanced representation across recreation interests, taking input and reporting progress towards each step in the study. The application to join the steering committee is available on the project’s website Re-createAndRecreate.com; applications will be accepted through Monday, September 14th.
