Ambassador Spotlight
Kelley Albrant
I manage the Edward Jones branch on the west side of Howell. I am a native of Howell and a graduate of Michigan State University. After over 20 years in the communications industry working with local businesses and managing sales and marketing teams, I decided to follow in my grandfather's footsteps and become a financial advisor.
He instilled in me the importance of setting financial goals and creating strategies to help achieve them. At Edward Jones, I have the opportunity to do that while empowering others to do the same.
I enjoy working with all types of clients. I am here to help you gain a sense of control over your financial future. I thoroughly enjoy coaching others about ways to save and invest and educating people on how proactive strategies can change the trajectory of your family legacy.
Giving back to the community that we live in is a key component of my practice and my personal life. I enjoy serving at church, the chamber, and in the school district.
My husband, Paul, and I have lived in Howell for over 25 years. Our three boys, Patrick, Bradley, and Mitchell, are proud to be Howell Highlanders! Our family has spent many hours on the lacrosse field and with the HHS Marching band. We also enjoy summer camping and spending quality family time together.
As a financial advisor, I know that relationships are key. We will partner together throughout your life to help keep you on track. Your time is valuable, and we welcome the opportunity to provide you with our highly personalized services to help you reach your goals.

Whew! It’s been a year and yes, we are almost a year into when stay-at-home orders first started cropping up. This last year has taken a toll on all of us, especially small businesses some of which had to endure closures and capacity limitations.
We have done an amazing job as a community spending money locally in order to help these businesses survive. But we can do more:
- Buying sweet treats from local artisans and bakeries
- Visiting local restaurants
- Writing reviews for your favorite businesses
- Ordering flowers from a local grower or florist
- Visiting a local brewery or winery
- Booking a trip to a local salon or beauty service
However you decide to support local, consider purchasing Chamber Cash. This local currency helps identify you to businesses as someone who is supporting their efforts and committed to spending in town.
You can buy the currency on our website at Howell.org and can have it sent to you or a recipient of your choice.
This Valentine’s Day, celebrate your favorites including our local businesses. They’ll be happy to see you.

As a virtual school, Michigan International Prep School (MIPS) was uniquely positioned for the challenges of the past year. But even
we weren’t exempt from 2020’s seemingly boundless theme of adaptation.
From virtual field field trips to the Toledo Zoo and the apple orchard, to a virtual 5K for our MIPS Running Club, our dedicated staff has worked relentlessly to continue pursuing a high level of excellence and student engagement in the face of change. It is our commitment to emerge with a more diverse array of opportunities and educational resources for our students than ever before.
In keeping with this vision, MIPS launched a School of Music this fall, offering professional, one-on-one instruction (Guitar, Piano, or Voice), a fascinating study of the use of music in film (Music in Movies), and weekly virtual calls with a vibrant and engaged community of fellow student musicians. We believe strongly in the importance of the arts as a crucial element of educational development; we trust this will be only the first of a full suite of fine arts offerings.
Additionally, MIPS was thrilled to introduce an Enhanced Dual Enrollment pathway this Fall in partnership with Cleary University, allowing advanced students to accrue free college credit - up to an associate degree in Business Administration - during their high school career. It is our aim to cultivate an environment where students have the resources and support necessary to design an educational pathway that aligns with their unique talents and interests.
