Today was Oak Park's 49th Annual Day In Our Village, and what a day it was! DIOV was organized by the Village of Oak Park, and featured food, music, and lots of fun.
At the heart of the event, more than 100 groups and organizations (such as the Chamber) staffed booths in Scoville Park to build community in our town. We learned about arts and social justice efforts, we joined mailing lists, we committed to volunteering. We talked with each other, we got to know each other, we supported each other.
It was an annual celebration not just "In Our Village" - but of being our village. We hope you got to enjoy it, and we look forward to a whole year of being community to each other, until the next one!

Join us for this workshop to learn how to better welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community into your workplace. In this fast-paced session you will learn how and where to advertise for employees as an LGBTQ+ advocate business, how to best support all employees, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, to be more inclusive, and much more.

Our June Business After Hours (BAH) will be hosted by FFC (Fitness Formula Clubs) Oak Park. Join us for a night of networking and hors d'oeuvres in this high-energy setting, to enjoy spring on the outdoor deck! Meet the staff, get a tour and, who knows, maybe even be inspired to get in a workout.
