Dear Chamber Members,
In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to you for giving Oak Park and River Forest communities their character, creativity, and sense of belonging.
In the short time I’ve been with the OPRF Chamber as Interim Executive Director, I’ve had the pleasure meeting many of you, hearing about your work, your challenges, and the pride you take in serving this community. Those conversations have been a powerful reminder of what makes this place so special: a network of people who show up for one another, who invest in their communities, and who believe in the strength of a connected, resilient local economy.
This year has also been one of growth and renewed momentum for the Chamber. From new partnership initiatives to the success of our Spotlight Awards soirée, and the everyday moments of connection at our monthly gatherings, your engagement has fueled and strengthened the Chamber’s work.
Thank you for your support, your trust, and your partnership in helping our OPRF community thrive. It is an honor to support the work you do.
Wishing you and your loved ones a warm and restorative Thanksgiving. We look forward to continuing our work together in the months ahead.
With gratitude,
Yoo-Jin Hong
