Happy March!

We've got fresh updates on the 10th Annual Health & Wellness Fair — including early bird pricing, a pre-event Happy Hour, and a link to grab your free tickets. We're also celebrating Women's History Month with a quick note for women-owned businesses, and as always, make sure to check out our programming calendar!

THIS YEAR'S FAIR IS COMING IN HOT

Our biggest community event is back this April, and if last year's sold-out energy — hundreds of guests, 50+ exhibitors, good vibes all around — is any indication, this one's going to be even better. This year we're at FFC Oak Park, which includes some rock climbing for the adventurous ones in your crew. And as always, it's completely free to the public! Attendee registration is now live so snag your Eventbrite ticket ahead of time and skip the line straight to the good stuff.

LET'S TOAST TO THAT – VENDOR HAPPY HOUR

March 24 | 5–7 PM, Hosted by Riveredge Hospital

80+ vendors in one room before the Fair even starts? Yes, please. Our pre-event Happy Hour is the perfect warm-up — meet your fellow vendors, find your next referral partner, swap ideas, and get the inside scoop on everything you need to know before Fair day.

Low-key, high-value. Come for the connections, stay for the good vibes.

Free for registered Health & Wellness Fair vendors and sponsors!

DON'T MISS OUT ON EARLY BIRD PRICING

Spots are filling up and the clock is ticking. Vendor booth fees jump on March 20th, so if you're even thinking about it, now is the time to commit.

Vendor Booth Fees

  • Chamber Members: $200 (goes up to $250 after March 20)
  • Non-Members: $650 (goes up to $700 after March 20)

Never vended with us before? Here's the pitch: hundreds of engaged community members walking right up to your booth, brought in from everywhere our digital and print marketing efforts can reach. The Chamber promotes this event to an audience of 70,000+ through e-blasts, web postings, public relations, social media, and print advertising. Oh, and the person in the booth next to you? Probably your next referral partner.

More of a behind-the-scenes supporter? Sponsorships run $550–$3,000 and come loaded with perks — premium booth placement, covered booth fees, and your logo splashed across our newsletters, social media, print materials, and event signage. Slots are going fast. We've also put together a sponsorship package breakdown if you want more details.

COMING UP THIS WEEK

PLAN YOUR MONTH

March is Women's History Month, and community members will be using our business directory to search for and support women-owned businesses right here in the Chamber. If you identify as a women-owned business and want to show up in those searches, make sure your profile is opted in!

This was Step 2 of your member application, but if you skipped it or joined through our free 6-month membership, no worries — check out this guide to update your profile in just a few clicks.

Here's to the women building something great in Oak Park and River Forest — we're proud to celebrate you this month and every month!

You can view the list of women-owned businesses here.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Chamber’s Executive Director position is now posted and open for applications. We are grateful for the strong support and engagement of our membership as we begin this important next chapter.

A Search Committee, led by Board President Esther Grachan and joined by board members Jeffrey Hines, Mike Lavery, and Dan Mahoney will guide the recruitment and interview process, with support from Interim Executive Director Yoo-Jin Hong serving as a Search Consultant to ensure a structured and thoughtful hiring and transition.

You can view the Executive Director job posting below. Please feel free to share it with those who may be a strong fit. If you would like to recommend a potential candidate, please contact Yoo-Jin directly. All inquiries and recommendations will be kept confidential.

As we move through this search, your voice matters. We'd love to hear what you're hoping to see in our next Executive Director. Please fill out the survey below. We will continue to share updates with members at key milestones throughout the process.

That’s it for this week—thanks for reading and for helping our business community thrive together.
