Chamber Advantage

June 11th, 2023

Pride is a celebration of all things that make it wonderful to be an LGBTQ+ person. It began as a riot and continued as a protest. As a member of the Pride Programming Committee, I felt it important to focus on transgender and non-binary people. Particularly, because they have been perceived negatively in the media and have been systematically erased from our history. This section of the community needs our support now more than ever as business owners, allies, and compassionate human beings. If you've missed any of our Pride Programming, reach out to us, we would be happy to share our resources to help make your business an affirming place for all members of the LGBTQ+ Community. We hope to see you all out for our celebration portion of pride including the Business After Hours at FFC on June 13th, Thursday night OUT in the Burbs on June 22nd, and Drag Brunch at Kettlestrings Tavern on June 24th.
