Summer is here, and with it comes First Fridays—our brand new monthly festival series bringing fresh energy to Oak Park’s business districts. On the first Friday of each month, we’re filling the streets with live music, great food, pop-up bars, local vendors, family fun, and good vibes all around.

It’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the small businesses that make Oak Park shine. Whether you’re stopping by after work or making a night of it with friends and family, First Fridays are your new go-to for summer fun. This is the Chamber showing up in a bold new way—and we can’t wait to see you out there.

We’re lighting up the block with food, music, and neighborhood energy—First Fridays is our new monthly street fest series, and it all starts in the Chicago-Austin District this July 4.

We’re still welcoming vendors, volunteers and community groups to be part of the launch! Whether you want to promote your business, share a cause, sell your goods, or connect with neighbors, this is your chance to show up and stand out.

OAK PARK ELECTRIC SHUTTLE STUDY

The Village of Oak Park needs your help. We are studying the possibility of bringing a shuttle service back to the Village and need more information about potential users of the system and their needs and interests.

Where: Maze Branch Library meeting room (downstairs)

When: July 2, 5:30pm – 7pm

What: Participate in discussion about how people get around the Village, their priorities when choosing transportation options, and their perspectives on a potential public shuttle service. Provide feedback on potential shuttle routes and models.

Because your input will be integral to understanding community needs and designing a successful shuttle service, participants are eligible for a $100 stipend for their time and knowledge.

How: To participate and receive a stipend, first register by July 27. A maximum of 12 participants will be selected. Participants will be chosen based on maximizing groups represented and on a first come basis.
