Chamber Advantage

October 29th, 2023

I hope this email finds you in high spirits and, perhaps, with a pocketful of Halloween candy. First, a monstrous round of applause to all who joined us for the Chamber Trivia Night last Wednesday. Our collective knowledge and wit outshone any vampire's fangs or werewolf's howl!

As Halloween approaches, get ready for our upcoming Economic Symposium, "Rise of the Robots." Join us for a day filled with enlightening discussions about the future of work.

Whether you're planning to trick or treat, ponder AI's dominance, or simply curl up with a scary movie, I wish you a Halloween filled with delightful frights and a dash of robotic fascination.

Stay eerie-sistible, my friends!

RISE OF THE ROBOTS:

How artificial intelligence is driving innovation and transforming society.

Join us on a journey through the landscape of Artificial Intelligence, exploring its impact on businesses of all sizes. The launch of ChatGPT democratized AI technology, igniting an ongoing AI race. We invite you to our 8th annual Econo mic Symposium to discuss how AI can elevate productivity across organizations, demystify its workings, and tackle the question on everyone's mind: will the robots take over?

You do not want to miss our Keynote Speaker at this year's Economic Symposium: Jose Ochoa.

Jose is Senior Director of Cloud and Data Strategy in the Google Cloud Practice at Publicis Sapient. He brings over 17 years of executive leadership, management, and strategy experience to the team. He is passionate about the role data plays in solving the world’s challenges, enabling others to realize their potential, and scaling organizations.

For those who've already purchased tickets, we're thrilled to confirm your automatic registration for this reimagined event. And if you bought a table, you now have ten front row seated tickets for the keynote!

We regret any inconvenience caused by the date change, but are confident this shift will result in an event that's more vibrant, insightful, and impactful.

Anticipate riveting discussions, enlightening insights, and opportunities to network with like-minded professionals at the OPRF Chamber Economic Symposium on November 15th, 2023.

Trivia Night and Costume Contest Recap!

Thanks to everyone who came to Trivia Night

and Participated in the Costume Contest!

A Spooky Success For Our Annual Fundraiser!

Ghouls and goblins, ghosts and ghastlies, it was a scaretastic night! We at the Chamber want to thank every creatively dressed participant and those who dawned their own faces and braved the elements to join us for Trivia Night.

It was a fantastic night of laughter, fun, and fellowship as we battled it out for trivia supremacy. The cheering and question challenges were only outdone by the support for our annual fundraiser.

We'd especially like to thank our amazing sponsors - The ATM Team - Berkshire Hathaway, Old Second National Bank, and our haunted & hallowed event space Fitzgerald's Nightclub. And, we couldn't have asked for a better chair than Maia Stern for our Young Professionals!

Thank you for your support, kind words, and generous donations. We are all very proud of the outcome, as it helps us provide vital resources to our nonprofit and small business communities.

Cheers to a spooky success!
