Chamber Advantage

August 3rd, 2025

Howdy Members,

While the rest of the world was busy with Lolla this weekend, we’ve been keeping the local momentum going. On Friday, we hosted the second installment of our First Friday Street Festival Series — and the vibes were absolutely unrivaled. It’s been incredible to see families, neighbors, and community members filling the streets, connecting with local businesses, and embracing the joy of summer together.

Let’s keep that momentum going through the dog days of summer.

Up next? We’re turning our attention to some of the biggest moments of the year — our Annual Meeting, the always-glamorous Spotlight Soirée, and the launch of enhanced member benefits designed to elevate your Chamber experience as we head into fall.

SOUTHTOWN'S TURN TO SHINE

Next month, First Fridays heads to Southtown — a district known for its creative spirit, close‑knit business community, and neighborhood charm. This event draws families and locals eager to explore, shop, and connect with the indie businesses and makers that define the area.

It’s a great opportunity to showcase Southtown’s unique offerings, cross‑promote with fellow businesses, and be part of the energy that continues to strengthen Oak Park’s local economy.

Thinking about getting involved? Now’s the time.

Vendors get to sell their goods, promote a cause, or connect with the community. Volunteers score a front‑row seat to the action, meet new neighbors, and help bring the magic to life.
