HAGÅTÑA, GUAM - The Guam Chamber of Commerce announced the selection of Robert P. Salas, as the 2024 Individual Laureate to be admitted into the Guam Business Hall of Fame this year.
"We are excited to induct this year’s Laureate into the Guam Business Hall of Fame,” said Catherine S. Castro, Chamber President. “Robert “Bob” Salas, a self-made entrepreneur and visionary leader, has significantly contributed to Guam's business landscape. Through Laureate’s foresight, work ethic, and business collaborations he has created multiple companies across various industries, employing hundreds of our island residents, and has raised the bar of service and efficiency in every industry that he is involved in. Laureate's philanthropic efforts further exemplify his commitment to our island community."
Ernie A. Galito, Chairman of the Board added, "We extend our gratitude to the Guam community for their ongoing support and acknowledgment of the importance of the Guam Business Hall of Fame. We aspire for all of Guam's remarkable business leaders and forward-thinkers to receive the recognition they merit. The Guam Business Hall of Fame induction will take place during the Guam Chamber of Commerce's Centennial Jubilee Celebration, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Guam Grand Ballroom. A video commemorating the accomplishments of the Laureate will be featured that evening. A significant part of the Chamber's Anniversary Celebration will be the recognition of Chamber member companies celebrating 20 years plus (in five-year increments) of doing business in Guam. A special award will be presented to 46 member companies celebrating 20 to 110 years of service to the community of Guam.
