VIRGINIA SKILLSBELT EMPLOYER SURVEY
|
|
An available and skilled workforce is the primary driver when businesses consider establishing a new location or expanding an existing one. If a region cannot provide the talent pipeline the business needs now and well into the future, it will likely be eliminated from consideration.
The Virginia Tech (VT) Office of Economic Development and several other regional partners are working with Boyette Strategic Advisors (Boyette) to gain a clearer understanding of the workforce in our region. The project, which is being completed with funding from the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission in partnership with AEP – Appalachian Power, will gather information about the quality and availability of the workforce in a 55-county region call the Virginia SkillsBelt. The results of this study will be very important to our efforts to create new jobs and investment in our region and improve the quality of life for our residents.

Survey:
The purpose of this survey is to gather your input about the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History. This survey only takes about 5-7 minutes to complete.
Respondents can either choose to remain anonymous or can provide an email address to be entered into a raffle for a $100 VISA gift card.
Background Information:
The museum promotes art and history in the Dan River Region through rotating gallery exhibitions, a Civil War exhibit, local history, an auditorium, a children's "See & Do" room, and is a center for self-expression and stories.
The goal is for the museum to be the premiere cultural arts institution of the region. This goal can only be attained by moving the museum forward to be more inclusive and reflective of 2019 and the needs of our community.
