A number of pro-business bills already have been signed into law, while others await the Governor's signature. MICROGRANT FUNDING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES & ENTREPRENEURS
The Dan River Region Entrepreneur Ecosystem [DRREE], along with its partners are happy to provide the next round of microgrant funding for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Dan River Region.

With the swift pivot to online marketplaces, this grant is to help support small businesses and entrepreneurs that are developing or enhancing their digital footprint.

The Small Biz Digital Marketing Reimbursement Grant is a 1:1 match [we will match you, dollar for dollar, for your expenses] after we have approved your payout for up to $500.00 reimbursement.

The program will run March 5-May 5, and applications will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Requirements:
  1. This is a COVID-response support grant. Therefore, all receipts must be dated between April 1, 2020 - December 31, 2021 to be eligible for reimbursement.
  2. All receipts must be attached below in your application. Even if you have already sent in receipts, we will need you to send a copy of them again here.
  3. Invoices can be for future marketing [as long as the invoice is prior to the deadline to submit, it is fine if the actual marketing does not run until later this year up to December 31, 2021]
  4. Payout requests and invoices/receipts are due no later than May 5, 2021
  5. Please hold all receipts until you are ready for reimbursement [submit only 1 application], as we will only cut one check per grantee [one-time payout]
  6. Before applying for the reimbursement, you are required to select one of the Longwood SBDC marketing webinars to watch. We encourage you to watch as many webinars as possible, however, 1 is the minimum to receive the funds.

Step 1: Visit Longwood SBDC website
Step 2: Click on the “Sales & Marketing” category to see the list of videos & content
Step 3: Pick your webinar selection & apply for the reimbursement once your viewing is complete
