Northern Lights School is ready to put down roots!

NLS is a non-profit, NY State certified daycare center and Universal Pre-K provider that has offered unique and alternative education to the working families of Saranac Lake and surrounding areas for over 20 years. With a Waldorf-inspired, play and nature based philosophy, we strive to educate the whole child: head, heart, and hands and instill in them a life-long love of learning, a reverence for our natural world, and a strong moral and social compass. We have outgrown our current location in the basement of 57 church street and hope to find a new home in which we can offer our exceptional care to more families and become a permanent part of our unique and supportive business community. For more information or to join/follow our journey please "like" us on Facebook, visit our website at  or contact us at:   518-891-3206 .
Paul Smith's College

Everyone knows about the EatADK Restaurant Week Field Studies success story. Take a Survey to help gain useful information for this semester's project on loyalty programs! Paul Smith's College Business & Hospitality Students are conducting a brief survey to determine your personal preferences on loyalty programs as part of their Field Studies in Hospitality Class.
The Saranac Lake Area Tourism Council (SLATC) is exploring the potential for increasing tour group travel to our area. We thank the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for sending you this brief survey on our behalf.

Thank you for participating.

International travelers are increasing and tour groups are the main way they travel. They stay longer and spend more money than other travelers across all sectors: lodging, food & beverage, recreation and transportation. Tours today can be as small as 10 people with a variety of itineraries and themes. New York City is one of the main gateways for international travelers. Visiting National Parks and monuments is one of their top three priorities, yet at this time only 8% of upstate travelers come to the Adirondacks. We have an opportunity to work together to make our area more appealing and accessible to tour group operators.
