November Chamber in Review

We had so much fun with Women in Business and two Open Houses hosted by Mid Shore Technology and the

Best Western Denton Inn!

Women in Business Network visits Outstanding Dreams Alpaca Farm

The Women in Business Network recently held a delightful Lunch and Learn event at the charming Outstanding Dreams Farm. Attendees had the unique opportunity to learn about alpacas and the intriguing differences between alpacas and llamas. Phil Liske, the farm owner, even introduced his newest herd member – a llama – to illustrate these differences firsthand.

The event also featured a picnic lunch, allowing participants to enjoy the serene farm setting. A highlight of the afternoon was a session led by Dr. Michelle Hammond, who showcased the transformative power of sound healing. Dr. Hammond provided an enlightening discussion on the nine essential solfeggio frequencies, explaining how participants can incorporate these soothing sounds into their daily lives. Her sound healing services combine calming frequencies and vibrations, promoting deep relaxation, reducing stress, and restoring balance to the mind, body, and soul.

This Lunch and Learn was not only educational but also a rejuvenating experience, leaving attendees with new knowledge and a sense of inner peace. WIB meets four times a year. We would love to have you join us as a guest or featured speaker!

The Chamber celebrates the growth of

Mid-Shore Technologies!

Midshore Technology Services recently celebrated the expansion of their office space with a ribbon-cutting and open house event. The company has built a strong business in Caroline County, working with several towns and businesses, both large and small. They have thrived by utilizing local talent, including apprenticeships through our local high school Youth Apprenticeship Program. This growth has led them to become top platinum partners with the Chamber. Congratulations to Midshore Technology Services on this remarkable achievement!
