IT TAKES A VILLAGE
What a fantastic month April has been for our community! We came together for our annual Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast, where our local delegation shared insightful updates and engaged in meaningful discussions that will help shape our future. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate with those working hard to represent our interests.
We celebrated growth and new beginnings with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Skydive Chesapeake, an exciting addition to our network of members. Their adventurous spirit and dedication to bringing unique experiences to our community are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them aboard.
Another highlight of the month was Coffee with the County, where Caroline County department heads shared who they are and the vital work their departments do. Each speaker had 10 minutes to present, followed by a round-robin session—like speed dating—that ensured every table got to meet and interact with every department head. The event was a wonderful opportunity to foster connections and gain valuable insights into the various roles that help keep our community thriving.
As we look ahead, the team has been working tirelessly to prepare for move-in day on May 1st. It's a fresh start, a chance to lay the foundation for even greater achievements. Here's to embracing change and making strides toward our shared goals.
We are reminded that none of this would be possible without the strength and collaboration of our village. Together, we’re building a brighter future—one event, one connection, and one milestone at a time.
