Last week was a bit of a blur following the Drive-By Santa Celebration and hosting our first ever virtual lunch watch party! And then we entered the Yellow Zone so we're hosting another session with the Health Unit and Bylaw officers on Wednesday (yes, that's tomorrow! See below to register)
We also sent out our Holiday Hamper with greetings for the season and some great deals from a few of our members.. watch for it arriving soon! We don't distribute our mailing list BUT we do have a bulk mail rate so it seemed a great opportunity to share that envelope with members who have been asking us for that... there are some great deals included with tons of holiday shopping and eating ideas so hopefully you'll find this useful (and consider joining us the next time if you have something you want to share!)
In a year of "yes, and" while everyone else is saying "no, because of COVID" - we've stretched our creativity and continue to look for ways we can support you every day. We know you each need something different but you all need to feel supported and valued.
The government continues to agree and I do want to share this short video from last week's Ontario Chamber of Commerce call with the Honorable Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. (see below for link)
Finally for today - we're looking for a few great voices to join us as we celebrate shopping local and supporting each other over the next few weeks (actually, you don't really have to have a great voice - just tons of enthusiasm!) We may not get this creative - perhaps just a line from Deck the Halls will work - but please, come on board and let's sing a song!
