OFA, and have partnered with local organizations to offer Virtual Career Fairs that will expose job seekers to employment possibilities in the agri-food industry. They will be offered for FREE to both employers and job seekers in various regions throughout the province and will highlight the need for talent in the industry.

Quinte Community Sewing for Covid19
If people are interested in donating any of the above items they can drop them off to the Chamber of Commerce Log Cabin, 5 Moira St East, or, send an email to and the sewing group members will arrange for pick up.
was created for individuals interested in sewing face masks, head bands, scrub caps, etc and knitting/crocheting ear savers for our healthcare workers / front line workers to help keep our community safe. Members have been using their own supplies or items donated to make these items. They are running short on a few supplies and would appreciate donations of the following items:
FLAT BUTTONS  - 3/4" or 1", (the size of a quarter or loonie), colour doesn't matter 
(happy to accept jars or bags of buttons and they will sort and pair up)
ELASTIC - 1/8" or 1/4" flat elastic
BIAS TAPE - extra wide double folded, 5/8" 
FABRIC - 100% cotton fabric or sheets to make masks & scrub caps OR cotton & polyester blend fabric or sheets for head bands, laundry bags & gowns.
