Come join us for two action packed nights with the top bull riders and bucking bulls in the Midwest.
Ticket prices for this 2.5 hour fun filled show are $12 for Adults, $8 for Youth (age 5-12), and kids 4 and under are free.

Hosted by  Downtown Kearney MO  and  Kearney Firehouse Community Center . Enjoy FREE food & family fun before the movie, brought to you by some pretty AWESOME community partners! (shaved ice, cupcakes, t-shirts, prizes, dunk tank, obstacle course, face painting, photo booth, and so much more!) Want to get involved? The Kearney School District Education Foundation is hosting a fundraiser event called Sip and See on August 2 from 7:30-10pm at the Tobacco Barn Farm . This event will help to raise funds for the Kearney School District LENS (Learning and Exploring through Nature and Science) program. For more information on the LENS program visit the school district site here.   
Tickets for this fundraiser are $50/person.

Upcoming Community Meetings - KCI Terminal Concession Program Opportunities.
The Kansas City Aviation Department (KCAD) has announced the schedule for outreach sessions to inform Kearney Chamber members about potential opportunities to participate in the future concession program for the new terminal at Kansas City International Airport. Attend one of the Outreach Meetings to find out program details, requirements and processes.
KSD Families are welcome to “shop” for school supplies and gently-used clothing at the Back to School Resource Fair August 8 & 9 . The Fair is geared toward helping families prepare for going back to school.

Kearney High School is looking for a company that would like to furnish lunch for our coaches this year. The lunch will be on August 12 at 11:30 am at the High School Commons. All levels of coaches are in attendance at this meeting. We have roughly 70 coaches that work for the district. If a business is interested in sponsoring this luncheon please contact Shelia Drescher, Kearney High School Activities Department, 816-628-3647.
Midwest Corvettes and Classics will host a cruise night on the third Saturday of each month. Dates are August 17 , September 21, and October 19 (weather permitting) from 5-8pm at the Orscheln parking lot. Bring your car and enjoy an evening of car talk and good times.
Stella Spiking – State Farm has set a goal to donate $1050 by Sept. 1 to the Kearney Enrichment Council to help build the Splash Pad at Lion’s Park. To meet our goal, we will donate $10 for every household who allows us to give them a q uote thru August 31! That means we need 35 peop le each month (who are not currently State Farm customers) to let us take a look at your insurance! So, who do you know? Send them our way and let’s help the Kearney Enrichment Council bring this awesome recreation area to Kearney! We will be at all Amphitheater events and Movies in the Park this Summer, so stop by our table! Or, as always, drop by the office or call us at 816-628-6001.

Farmers Lechner Agency takes donations of bicycles, cash and/or gift cards for parts to refurbish gently used bicycles for Northland kiddos in need. Want to help? Bring donations to 404 S Jefferson Street, Kearney, MO. The bicycle program is also taking names of individuals who may be in need, call 816-479-4644 with your suggestions.
