Getting help fast is a key to surviving major medical emergencies, including traumas with serious injuries, stroke and heart attack. The state of Missouri’s Time Critical Diagnosis (TCD) System brings together the 911 response system, ambulance services and hospitals to ensure patients receive the highest quality care as quickly as possible.
recently was named by the state of Missouri’s TCD System as a Level II Center in all three specialties: trauma, stroke and STEMI, by demonstrating a high level of proficiency and care, with specially trained staff available 24 hours a day to provide treatment for these medical emergencies. It is the only hospital in the Northland to receive this designation in all three specialties.

would like to donate $1050 to the Kearney Enrichment Council by Sept 1! This money will be used to help build the Splash Pad at Lion’s Park. We need your help. Here’s how it works…From June 1 – August 31, we will donate $10 to the Kearney Enrichment Council for every household who allows us to give them a quote! That means we need 35 people each month (who are not currently State Farm customers) to let us take a look at your insurance! So, who do you know? Family, neighbors, church friends, best friends, frenemies? :-) Send them our way and let’s help the Kearney Enrichment Council bring this awesome recreation area to Kearney! Well school is almost OUT and summer will be upon us! The
Kearney Food Pantry
will start Summer food bags on June 6th. At the moment we have 31 kiddo's signed up.
We are in need of: Peanut butter and grape jelly; Poptarts and granola bars; Cereal; Kool-Aid
packets (so they can make a pitcher). Individual and family sized, Canned meals such as ravioli and spaghetti O's; Macaroni and cheese; Fruit and applesauce.
If you are able to help we would appreciate it. You can drop off at the barrel at Price Chopper or the bench outside our double red doors (113 E Washington St.\). We are open on Tuesday's and Thursday's stop in and say hi.

Hall of Fame will host its golf tournament Friday, June 21, 2019, at The Club at MariMack Golf Complex in Kearney. This Four Man Scramble is limited to the first 18 Teams. Catered BBQ lunch provided. Registration deadline is June 14.

is hosting Waterfest, the biggest and best festival in Excelsior Springs! There's something for everyone at this family-friendly, two-day event starting June 21.
First Pentecostal Church of Kearney
is hosting a block party Saturday, June 22nd from 11AM to 3PM. Open to the community, festivities include a bounce house, pony rides, snow cones, hot dogs and other games.
Back to School Resource Fair is planned for Thursday, August 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday, August 9 from 9:00 to 1:00. There are several ways for Kearney Chamber members to get involved.

takes in gently used bicycles, refurbishes them and gives them back to kiddos in need in our Northland area. Want to help?
