Lots Happened in March!

2019 Casino Night A huge thank-you to those who donated to or attended A Night in New Orleans! Proceeds raised are placed right back into Jefferson County through Chamber programming and events. Also, congratulations to the grand prize raffle winner, Emily Blackmon!!

Youth Leadership Jefferson County Congratulations to our 2018-2019 Youth Leadership Jefferson County graduates! Nineteen students met six times throughout the program to learn about our government, meet local officials and tour businesses and industries. Each student also attended two governmental meetings, volunteered a minimum of 6 hours and attended a Schoolhouse Players production.

Business Resource Expo Fourteen State and local organizations discussed resources and available opportunities with local businesses, Chamber members and expo attendees on March 29 at the Chamber's Business Resource Expo.

Food Pantry 20th Anniversary The Louisville Food Pantry and Clothes Closet celebrated its 20th anniversary in March! A ribbon-cutting was held at the food pantry and a reception immediately followed at Louisville United Methodist Church.

Whitestone Transportation A Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting was held at Whitestone Transportation's new truck-washing and maintenance facility! Congratulations to Whitestone Transportation for also being our newest Chamber member!
