The next roundtable event for the County of Grande Prairie Business Support Network will be August 13, 2019 at the Alliance Church (15502 - 102 Street, Grande Prairie).

If your business is impacted by the new Mandatory Entry Level Training for trucking and bussing then this is the session to attend.

We are bringing in Bonnie Lean to present how these laws impact the industry and answer any questions you may have. Bonnie started out her career going to Lethbridge college and graduating from the criminal justice program. She moved into the regulatory environment while working as an Alberta registries employee and then entered NSC Compliance and Transportation safety within International companies as a Transportation Safety Coordinator. With over 9 years experience in transportation compliance and as an administrative professional, Bonnie has a strong working knowledge of complex fleets, and can provide valuable insight to a wide range of Transportation Regulatory & Safety issues.

We would like to announce that the M.E.L.T. session on August 13, 2019 has recently been sponsored by TC Energy.

On behalf of TC Energy, Cole Thomson will give a short presentation on the company’s vendor registration process, the NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) projects they have coming up in the area, and a general overview of what business services need to be qualified. There will be a couple of representatives who will be on hand to answer any of your questions.

If either the trucking/transport industry or securing local talent for a large scale project of are interest to you please register here:   https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/melt-presentation-bonus-tc-energy-vendor-registration-for-nova-project-tickets-61428586556?aff=ebdssbdestsearch
