First, I would like to extend a huge thanks to all willing to place their name on the ballot this election season. We appreciate your willingness to serve our great community.

Second, I would like to recognize our awesome business community, school partners, and local leadership for blowing it out of the water during the Stranger Things Festival as well as the Fall Music Festival. Both were a HUGE success and that is due to your willingness to come together and make things happen.

Third, we have a lot of irons in the fire, and we hope you will join us in our adventures!

How can we as citizens of Butts County ensure that we make a lasting impact in the protection and preservation of our community without giving back?

The simple answer is—we can’t.

In an effort to support our local businesses during “Shop Small Business Saturday," scheduled for November 30th, all partnering organizations are committed to taking a “big picture” approach to ensure that our future generation understands the importance of what it means to support the local community, while gaining unique insight and firsthand experience into an industry they hope to pursue.

We are pleased to announce this collaboration with the Butts County School system, non-profit charitable organizations, and local businesses to promote, educate and connect the community through a fun, collaboration of all vested parties. Planting seeds today will bear fruit in the future and benefit our community for the greater good. Huge thanks to our many partners for stepping up to this newly developed program which we have no doubt will benefit all involved.

CANDIDATE FORUM

October 1st brought a record number of attendees to our Butts County Chamber Candidate Forum. Those in attendance were treated with a Question and Answer forum so that they could make an educated decision on Election Day! Huge thanks to Central Georgia EMC for hosting, to our candidates and citizens for taking the time to be there.

STRANGER THINGS

Nothing but praise for Butts County as we welcomed thousands of folks from across the world to our fair community! Thank you to our local business leaders and partners who worked for months to ensure this went off without a hitch.

FALL MUSIC FESTIVAL TRUNK-or-TREAT SPECTACULAR

For the first time ever, we successfully combined three events into one phenomenal day long celebrations. Thousands made their way to Jackson Square for a daylong event that did not disappoint. Huge thanks to all who worked so hard to make this happen!
