Camp Konewago

The Club is great and strong. We have an outstanding trail system! Our Team partnership with all of our landowners has come a long way. Much gratitude a job well done.
Don’t just enjoy the trails enjoy the camaraderie at meetings Oct through April the 2nd Friday at 6 PM for pot luck supper at the Bridgton Community Center 15 Depot Street.
Deertrees Theatre
Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, Deertrees is a non-profit performing arts center presenting an eclectic offering of humor, music, and plays during a season that runs from late June until early September.

Fern Hill Farm
Bed & Breakfast
Our 1870 home is a small working farm and a bed and breakfast. All our rooms have private baths and are furnished with country victorian decor and period antiques.
Our herd of Nubian dairy goats provide us with fresh milk and cheese and we also make goods milk soap. Our B&B guests enjoy breakfast featuring fresh ingredients from the farm.

Here at Bridgton Historical Society we are working with Empower Success Corps (ESC) to develop a strategic plan to figure out how best to use our resources to advance our mission in a sustainable manner, so both the Museum and Archives on Gibbs Avenue and Narramissic are recognized as valuable community assets. As part of this we are conducting a survey via Survey Monkey to understand how the community views us and how we can best serve you. As members of the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce we value your input very much, and hope that you will take a few minutes from your busy schedule to respond to the survey. Even if you don’t know much about us, we need to know that too!
Babysitting Class
The Bridgton Community Center will be offering a Babysitter’s Training Course on Monday, April 15 from 9 am to 3 pm at the community center.
Allison Ross, EMT, “United Ambulance” will be conducting this course. Attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the course
The basic course gears toward 11 to 14 year-old youth, teaching the information on Leadership: Safe and Responsible Babysitting, Basic Care: The Heart of Babysitting, Stop: Think Safety, Safe Play, and Basic First Aid including infant and child Heartsaver CPR.
Fee for this class is $40.00 which covers the cost of the book and a CD as well as other information that participants will be able to take home with them for reference.
Class size is limited to 14 candidates
Bring a bag lunch.

Loon Echo Land Trust Hosts Hike For Mental Health at Bald Pate Mountain Preserve

For this second collaboration, Maine Master Naturalist Leigh Hayes of Bridgton will bring her expertise on animal tracking and winter tree ID to point out all the subtle signs of spring that can be missed in the gray days of March.
This hike is free and open to the public, however registration is required. To register, contact Loon Echo Stewardship Manager, Jon Evans, at or 207-647-4352, or Jana Richards at . Snowshoes or traction devices may be required and layered clothing, water and snacks are always encouraged.
