Building Connections, Driving Growth: Chamber in Action Recap

Caroline Chamber Hosts Annual Milestone

Mixer & Cake Auction

The Caroline County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its annual Milestone Mixer and Cake Auction, a beloved tradition that combines celebration, community, and sweet rewards—all in support of the Caroline Chamber Scholarship Fund.

Guests gathered at the Cow Barn in Ridgely to enjoy an evening of networking, delicious appetizers provided by Portside Grille Caterers, and recognition of six outstanding local businesses reaching impressive milestones:

  • Avery Hall Insurance – 100 years
  • Peirson's Comfort Group – 75 years
  • Preston Automotive Group – 50 years
  • Choptank Community Health System – 45 years
  • Compass Hospice – 40 years
  • The Caroline Foundation – 10 years

The celebration continued with the Chamber’s signature Cake Auction, where attendees bid enthusiastically on a table full of cakes. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the auction raised over $3,000 for the scholarship fund—ensuring future opportunities for local students.

And of course, everyone left the evening with the sweetest reward of all: cake!
