With all this growth, excitement and media attention lately, the new, local non-profit Navarro Farm still has a long way to go to reach its goals. They are seeking donations to make their Greenhouse a reality, and at this point, things are dangerously close to them having to pause their programming for the winter as they may not have enough funding and resources in place to get their greenhouse built in time. They are seeking donations so they can make this happen sooner than later so their Farmers will continue to grow year round. 

Navarro Farm provides transformative agriculture and animal adventures for children and young adults impacted with special needs, and their families.

Westside Children's Therapy is looking for walkers and sponsors for its Foundation's upcoming Special Needs Awareness 5K in the New Lenox Village Commons on Sunday, Sept. 12. Visit westsidegivesback.org/5k-race to sign up to walk or to sponsor!

Tuesday with Friends (In-Person) on Tue. Aug. 17 at 1pm. Join us to discuss The Guest List by Lucy Foley. Guests arrive at a remote island off the coast of Ireland to celebrate the perfect couple's perfect wedding. Everything has been planned, organized, and perfection is the goal. The handsome groom is a rising television star, the beautiful bride is a magazine publisher. As the night goes on things start to get sloppy. The bridesmaid “accidentally” spills on her dress and the Best Man makes an inappropriate toast. Someone ends up murdered.
