Members and Supporters,
Since the Chamber launched almost five years ago, the organization has grown tremendously including the number of members, corporate partners and strategic and collaboration partners. The board of the Chamber is committed, more than ever, to economic inclusion, growing a thriving LGBTQ & Allied Business Community and supporting our members. With this commitment is the need for leadership and investment as the Chamber looks to both the present and the future. Read the announcement in this issue about the formalized President & CEO role and Board Leadership updates to support the work of the organization going forward.
Speaking of looking forward, there is no argument that this election is the most important election of our lifetimes. Our vote is our voice whether the LGBTQ+ community, the LGBTQ+ business community specifically, or LGBTQ+ Allied community. There is much work to be done in terms of LGBTQ+ economic inclusion and making sure the LGBTQ business community has a voice and helping to ensure that right is our vote. The deadline to register to vote in Texas is October 5. Read further in the newsletter to learn more and links to register.
Thank You! To our members, corporate partners, strategic and collaboration partners, we say thank you for your continued support. Many of you have renewed your commitment to the Chamber during these most challenging of times and it speaks volumes. We appreciate you and are here to support you.
After you read this edition of the Chamber Connection, head over to the Member Facebook Group, and share a video, offer or update about your member business. The Member Facebook Group is set-up to give members another way to share out more about your biz.
