Greenfield Cabinetry!
The Chamber's November 2020
Spotlight Business of the Month
The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber wishes to congratulate the Chamber’s November 2020 Spotlight Business of the Month, Greenfield Cabinetry.

Greenfield Cabinetry is part of The Corsi Group, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Corsi Group began building cabinets in Indianapolis in 1973. In 1978, Pat Corsi, owner of The Corsi Group, identified Elkins as the place to start a new plant. Greenfield Cabinetry opened in Elkins, WV in November of 2000, so Happy 20th Anniversary!
Greenfield Cabinetry builds custom residential kitchen and bath cabinetry. Corsi states, “Our mission is to provide a safe and respectful work environment for our 70+ employees, while producing a high-quality product with maybe a little bit of fun thrown in.”
Pictured above: Executive Director, Lisa Wood, presents Spotlight Business of the Month certificate to Greenfield Cabinetry's Plant Manager, Richard Simmons, and HR Director, Seneca Raines.
Corsi explains that Greenfield Cabinetry has managed to grow in this hyper-competitive industry by closely monitoring consumer preferences and having an appetite for the flexibility required to meet rapid change. He notes that for a company of its size, Greenfield Cabinetry maintains an intense focus on all manner of software and Internet platform development. He used to joke that The Corsi Group is a software development company with sawdust on the floor. Now, it’s a fact that automation is central to their business success.

Corsi decided years ago that it was best to support local, non-profit efforts with monthly contributions as opposed to lump sums. It’s a way for the company to budget and count on. Greenfield Cabinetry supports the Randolph County Humane Society, the Elkins Randolph County YMCA, and Women’s Aide in Crisis of Elkins. They also contribute annually to United Way of Randolph County and the Mountain State Forest Festival. In addition, as a natural fit with their neighbor, Greenfield Cabinetry is pleased to donate materials for the training classes at the WV Wood Technology Center.

The number of associates who have been at Greenfield Cabinetry for more than ten years is one of the achievements for which Corsi is most proud. “In today’s world, that’s right at the top of my list,” stated Corsi. In addition, he is proud of the economic impact Greenfield Cabinetry has had in Randolph County. “Our little cabinet shop has contributed a lot to this corner of West Virginia.”

The Chamber whole-heartedly agrees! Again, the Chamber congratulates Greenfield Cabinetry as our November 2020 Spotlight Business of the Month!

Christmas Lights Display Contest for Businesses AND Residents set for December!
Contest starts December 4th at dusk and concludes at noon on December 18th.
The Chamber will host a new event this year. It's a "Christmas Edition" of our successful Roamin' Randolph events that took place in two-week segments this summer in multiple locations within Randolph County.

The Christmas Lights Display Contest will be a friendly competition. The contest will have separate categories for residents and businesses. Substantial cash prizes will be awarded. The details will be finalized and shared in more detail within the next few weeks, but we thought you might want to dust off those Christmas lights early!

Please note there will not be an annual Christmas Parade through downtown Elkins this December. Next year, we hope to have both the parade AND the Christmas Lights Display Contest along with Santa's Workshop at the YMCA, the Polar Express, and many more holiday happenings throughout Elkins and Randolph County.

Elf on the Shelf, anyone?
Would you like to have "Randy," the Chamber's Elf on the Shelf at your business?
The Chamber is willing to bring our very own Elf on the Shelf, "Randy," back to to Randolph County businesses during December if there is enough interest with local businesses. Randy didn't make it to our community last year, but he's willing to be out and about IF we have enough businesses participate. To participate, a business displays Randy in their business for one day. The evening before, the Chamber posts a picture of him at that business with clues to his location. Customers come to your business, take selfies with Randy, and reply to the Chamber's post with the picture. Participating businesses provide a product and/or gift certificate valued at $25. At the end of the competition, one selfie is randomly selected to win the entire basket of products/gift certificates from all of the businesses. The Chamber will bring Randy back if we have five or more businesses participate. Call or email the Chamber if you would like your business to participate.
Reminder to Members:
Your Chamber membership includes social media posts and four email blasts each year. Our email list includes 950+ contacts. If you would like to promote your business or a special event, contact the Chamber today!
