Connecting Business. Creating Opportunity.
The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce is inviting input from local job seekers, employees, and businesses asking for their insights about strengths and challenges in the local labour force as well as their priorities for workforce skills and training.

3 ratios to monitor the long-term financial health of your business after COVID-19

Companies that have taken on an additional debt-load need to watch these ratios.

Over the last three months, we have heard from many business owners telling us about the disruption in their business operations.

Managing cash has been key source of anxiety. Coupled with the introduction of new safety precautions and the importance of maintaining transparent, open communications with both employees and customers, this has put a lot of pressure on entrepreneurs.

Restart your marketing as the economy reopens

Here’s a statement of the obvious: The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted virtually every aspect of our lives both personally and professionally.

As a result, businesses and brands have not only seen reductions in sales and operations but also their presence reduced in their markets.

Whether in good times or bad, marketing budgets are one of the easiest expenses that entrepreneurs tend to cut for cashflow purposes. In many cases, it’s the line item on the balance sheet to reduce for some business owners who don’t see marketing as the lifeblood it should be for their companies.

Please consider attending the Wolverines’ Adapted Sports Association virtual Annual General Meeting. For the date, time, link and more information, phone 780-402-3331 or email infogpwolverines.com

We are looking for dedicated volunteers interested in strengthening the Board of Directors of an organization that's been rolling around for almost 30 years.

Athletes from our programs have moved on to provincial, national and world class teams and recently.

In recent years, Sledge Hockey and Power Soccer players participated in tournaments in Edmonton, Calgary and Lethbridge and we'd like to continue in this tradition!

Wolverines Adapted Sports Association works in partnership with local, regional and provincial organizations to provide a fun, all-inclusive, and integrated recreational sport setting for participation by persons with all abilities and all ages.

MISSION

To enhance the well-being of all persons through inclusive, accessible and adapted sports, fitness, recreation and education.
