CHAMBER AGM AND AWARDS presented by CANWEST

The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting and Awards presented by Canwest is scheduled for Thursday, December 3. The meeting will include a review of our activities in 2020 and election of our 2021 Board of Directors.

There is no cost to attend the event but a reminder that each Member business is limited to one vote. The agenda will include election of directors to the Board; 2020 Membership, Advocacy, Chair, and CEO reports; and our Chamber Awards. The Chamber CHRISTMAS Virtual Business Showcase is set for Thursday, December 10 from 5:00-7:00 PM on Zoom.

Alberta Perspectives/Alberta Chambers of Commerce
The City's Economic Recovery Committee has allocated an additional $50,000 to the Local Marketing Grant as part of the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Program to assist more local businesses with their marketing efforts in time for the holiday season.

To date, 17 businesses have successfully applied for grants to boost their marketing efforts such as website upgrades, social media advertising campaigns, e-commerce setup, videography and photography for use in advertising and social platforms.
