Happy Friday Everyone,
On behalf of the Batesville Area Chamber team and board members, we would like to wish you a Happy Easter! (The office will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday!)
The Batesville Area Chamber, City of Batesville, and Batesville Main Street are partnering for the Community Clean-Up Days that will be held on Friday, April 22nd and 23rd. We hope that you help us clean up all around town. Businesses can join in the fun by sprucing up their storefronts and do a little spring cleaning too.
We have just added another event. Join us for a Legislative Update Lunch & Learn co-sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College and the Rotary Club of Batesville. It will be held on May 10th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Thank you to Ivy Tech for providing lunch. Seating is limited so RSVP by Wednesday, May 4th by calling the Chamber office.
Reserve your teams for our 23rd Chamber Annual Golf Outing on Thursday, May 19th at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. It is a fun event and teams sell out fast, so don't delay!

It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of two beautiful installations to brighten the Batesville Sky this spring and summer.
April-June: Batesville Sky Color Rain. This artistic installation, inspired by the rainbow that appears after a storm, is composed of colorful ribbons. It moves with the wind and transforms the skies, interacting with the natural elements in free form. This installation is new for 2022, and just like last year’s installment of Umbrella Sky, we expect visitors from all over the region to make their way to Batesville to view and take their pictures under Color Rain. We hope to have the installation up as early as possible in April. Please follow BAAC’s Batesville Sky Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BatesvilleSky for updates on installation.
July-September: Batesville Sky Umbrella Sky Project. The same famous Umbrella Sky Project will return in a different palette of colors and patterns. Not only is the installation lovely to see in our downtown district, but it also offers much-appreciated shade for our Farmers’ Market and provides an attractive venue for downtown events.
Each of our Batesville Sky installations will again be promoted across our region as well as in the Cincinnati and Indianapolis markets making the Batesville Sky installations a unique tourist destination in SE Indiana. These installations will continue to inspire beauty in our downtown and create a unique artistic display for residents and visitors to enjoy.
