I hope all of you had a nice weekend. I had the opportunity to attend the Indiana Chamber Executive Conference in Elkhart, Indiana last week with over 100 other Chamber representatives throughout the State. We had presentations from the US Chamber, Indiana Chamber, and also Indiana Destination Development Corporation. Networking and sharing best practices with other Chamber representatives across the State is absolutely invaluable! Look for some new exciting things coming to the Chamber soon.

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is coming to Batesville this Thursday, June 30th. This event couldn't happen without the joint partnership with Hillenbrand, Batesville Area Arts Council, and the City of Batesville along with many other donors. The Batesville Area Chamber Christmas in July promotion will start this Friday, July 1st. There will be lots of great summer savings at participating businesses. You can pick up your passport at the Chamber office or at one of the participating businesses starting July 1st. Receive a stamp each time you spend $10 or more. Turn them back into the Chamber office and be entered into a drawing for Chamber Checks. This is another way to support our local businesses.
