A Message From Your Executive Director

When you're going out of town for a few days, do you completely unplug and shut things down - or do you use it as a time to let your creativity be free in regards to thinking about your business?

As you're reading this, I'm away for a week's vacation and I've been (can't help it!) playing around with our new Perks app we're getting ready to reveal to you in just a few weeks.

But I'm not actually working - just using it to discover businesses, attractions and services where my family and I are vacationing - and as a Chamber, I cannot wait to share this and be able to offer this exact same service to those who are coming to our area, and need and WANT to discover businesses like yours.

Get ready for this new app and think of Chamber member-specific discounts or value-adds, and those who use the app in general. More eyeballs, more potential sales.

Until then - I'd love to see you at the first-come, first-booked Business In Between at The Yoga Vine with Jillian D'Archi on July 16th where we'll do a quick yoga class, eat lunch (included) and gab and connect about all things business with like-minded business owners.

Upcoming events we don't want you to forget:

As always, if you want to connect about how the Chamber can help you, what events you have on the horizon, hit reply or email info@lincolnchamber.ca and brainstorm ways on what we can accomplish together!

Warm wishes,

Emilia Amaro

Executive Director at LCC

Government News

Is red tape affecting your business success? The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) and The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce have consistently advocated reducing red tape for small and medium-sized enterprises.

We invite you to participate in this survey to share your insights, challenges, and opportunities. Your feedback will help us advocate for small and medium-sized enterprises to the Provincial Government regarding red tape and regulatory burdens.

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce will compile your responses and present them to the Associate Minister of Small Business and Minister of Red Tape Reduction as part of our advocacy efforts. We look forward to working together to benefit Ontario’s business community and economy.

This month, we had the pleasure of teaming up with our community partner, the Beamsville BIA, to celebrate Pride Month with our #LoveIsLoveLincoln campaign.

We wish to thank everyone who helped us spread a little love and acceptance this June. As Pride Month comes to an end, let's remember to continue celebrating diversity and inclusivity while creating a community we can all be proud of.
