Chamber’s Collins resigns post as CEO

"The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce made a surprise announcement Friday. In a statement released to the press that announced President and CEO Randy Collins has submitted his resignation to the board, and it was accepted.
Their press release said, “The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce announced that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Randy Collins as President and CEO, effective December 29, 2022.”
“Mr. Collins joined the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce as President and CEO in 2015. “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank Randy for his service, leadership, and contributions to the business community,” said Connie Hamlin, 2022 Chamber Board Chair. “We wish him all the best with his future endeavors.”"

One benefit of Chamber membership is the ability to promote job openings on the Chamber website through the Job Opportunities link. If you are hiring and would like to post a job on the website, log in to your account, click Job Postings, and Add Job Posting. Once that is complete, your posting will be approved by a Chamber staff member and will be published. Choose from Website Ads, Social Media Ads and Posts, and Email Blasts. There are several options, at varying and affordable price levels ($60 - $1200) for you to advertise your business through the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce through out the year. Our website and social media accounts have high traffic and advertising through those outlets will help build your brand and drive traffic to you.

History Channel TV Show, American Pickers will return to North Carolina in February 2023 in search of leads throughout the state. They are specifically interested in characters with fascinating collections and lots of items!
