Annual Chamber membership renewals will be sent by email this year with our enhanced membership management system. Your renewal email will include an invoice with convenient options to pay online or print the invoice and mail a check.

Website Advertising 

Put your business in front of visitors exploring Chamber members, events and community information. Rotating ads are available in several locations on the Chamber website, starting at $100 per quarter, with each ad linking directly to your website. 

Chamber Currents Weekly Email Featured Member 

Reach Chamber members, business and community leaders through our weekly email. For $100 per month, your logo will be featured in four consecutive editions of Chamber Currents and link directly to your website. 

These new opportunities are an affordable way to extend your reach and make the most of your Chamber membership.

Get Involved in Upcoming Experience DL Promotions

Think Local First Shopping Bags 

New reusable Think Local First bags will soon be available in the community. Participating businesses will be featured on a webpage accessed through the QR code on every bag and can offer their own incentive for customers who use their bag.

DL Deer Weekend | November 6–7 

Opening deer season means a weekend of shopping fun in Detroit Lakes! Participating businesses will offer drawings for discounts, gifts or prizes, while the Chamber coordinates the promotion, marketing and materials. 

And there’s more coming! Plans are nearly finalized for this year’s Shop. Drop. Win. promotion, with details coming soon.

The Chamber Ambassadors were excited to celebrate Midwest Bank at the opening of its second Detroit Lakes location with a ribbon cutting!

Growth created the need for more space, and the new location allows Midwest Bank to offer many of the same services customers have come to rely on while expanding its ability to serve the community. It’s always exciting to see a Chamber member grow, invest and choose to expand right here in the Detroit Lakes area.

This was also a fun full-circle moment for the Chamber. We were there for the groundbreaking, and we were honored to be invited back to cut the ribbon and celebrate the finished space! Supporting our members through milestones like these is an important part of what we do.

Celebrating a new addition that makes activity more accessible! 🎉

The Chamber Ambassadors recently joined Becker County DAC to celebrate its new swing set, including a wheelchair-accessible swing, with a ribbon cutting!

Becker County DAC provides important services and opportunities that help individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities build life skills, find meaningful work and achieve greater independence. The new accessible swing is another way the DAC is creating opportunities for everyone to participate, connect and enjoy time together.

Organizations like Becker County DAC strengthen our entire community by creating opportunities for people of all abilities to belong, contribute and thrive - and that’s something the Chamber is proud to celebrate.

The Chamber is seeking Ambassadors! 

Our Ambassadors attend Ribbon Cuttings, help present First Dollar Awards and Progress Awards, welcome guests to Chamber events, advocate for our programs + events, and help spread the word about who we are and what we do! This is also a great way to network, get involved in the community, and be part of your local Chamber of Commerce! 

Peggy Akers at Connect Interiors has been an Ambassador for years and tells us, “I enjoy being an Ambassador because it keeps me connected to our business community. It’s a fun, easy way to meet people, welcome new businesses and celebrate what’s happening in Detroit Lakes.
