New Ways to Put Your Business in Front of More People

Looking for an easy way to increase your visibility and keep your business

top-of-mind? We’ve added two new digital advertising opportunities

exclusively for Chamber members.

Website Advertising

Put your business in front of visitors exploring Chamber members, events and community information. Rotating ads are available in several locations on the Chamber website, starting at $100 per quarter, with each ad linking directly to your website.

Chamber Currents Weekly Email Featured Member

Reach Chamber members, business and community leaders through our weekly email. For $100 per month, your logo will be featured in four consecutive editions of Chamber Currents and link directly to your website.

These new opportunities are an affordable way to extend your reach and make the most of your Chamber membership.

How Is Paid Leave Working for Your Business?

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is gathering feedback from businesses across the state about their experience with Minnesota’s Paid Leave program.

Whether your experience has been positive, challenging or somewhere in between, your input is important. The feedback will help the Minnesota Chamber develop recommendations for potential program modifications to share with legislators and state leaders.

A similar survey was conducted this spring, and businesses are being asked to weigh in again now that they have additional experience with the program.

Please take a few minutes to share what Paid Leave has looked like for your business.

TAKE THE 3 MINUTE SURVEY

Thank you for including your thoughts and feedback on this important issue facing the state's business community. Your voice is the most powerful tool we have to advocate for changes or improvements at the Capitol during the 2027 legislative session.

Watch Your Inbox: Membership Renewals Coming via Email

Annual Chamber membership renewals will be sent by email this year with our enhanced membership management system. Your renewal email will include an invoice with convenient options to pay online or print the invoice and mail a check.

Watch your inbox for your renewal and thank you for your continued investment in the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber and our business community.

Reminder About Bremer Bank

Chamber Bucks

Chamber Bucks with the Bremer logo must be used within the next two years. After that time, they will need to be exchanged at the Chamber for Old National Chamber Bucks.

Reminder: First Security Bank Chamber Bucks must be exchanged for First National Chamber Bucks.

Customer Appreciation Week is underway at Old National Bank! 🎉

The Chamber Ambassadors stopped by Old National Bank to help kick off a full week of activities and say thank you to their customers and community.

Beginning today, October 5, stop in each day for a different treat and register for a grand prize. While you’re there, you can also:

  • Support the Marshmallow Foundation with monetary or item donations
  • Fill an Old National reusable shopping bag with confidential documents to be securely shredded
  • Enter the coloring contest for a chance to win a Dairy Queen treat

We love seeing our Chamber members find fun ways to thank their customers while also giving back to organizations in our community. That combination of business and community is something worth celebrating!

The Chamber is seeking Ambassadors!

Our Ambassadors attend Ribbon Cuttings, help present First Dollar Awards and Progress Awards, welcome guests to Chamber events, advocate for our programs + events, and help spread the word about who we are and what we do! This is also a great way to network, get involved in the community, and be part of your local Chamber of Commerce!

Peggy Akers at Connect Interiors has been an Ambassador for years and tells us, “I enjoy being an Ambassador because it keeps me connected to our business community. It’s a fun, easy way to meet people, welcome new businesses and celebrate what’s happening in Detroit Lakes. You can participate when your schedule allows, and every time you do, you make new connections.”

Email the chamber at dlchamber@visitdetroitlakes.com if interested.

Whether you have a question, an idea, a challenge, or something exciting happening in your business, I’d love to hear from you.

Feel free to call, send an email, or schedule a time on my calendar using the link below - whatever is easiest. Book time with Jackie Buboltz

Your insight and partnership help shape the work we do every day so connecting with our valued members is always a priority!
