Emerging Farmers Listening Sessions

November  Emerging Farmers Listening Sessions. These sessions will serve to advance the success and sustainability of farmers who traditionally face barriers to the education and resources necessary to build profitable agricultural businesses, including immigrant farmers and farmers of color. We will begin our time together by working to identify barriers that emerging farmers throughout Minnesota are experiencing. We hope to both gather information regarding issues that Minnesota emerging farmers are experiencing and work together to brainstorm potential solutions that will effectively transform the issues discussed.
Your voice is essential to our success in identifying ways to change the face of what agriculture looks like in Minnesota! Our hope is that together we will make a difference and create opportunities for the emerging farmers in our state.

College Drive/Highway 19 Feedback Survey

Marshall residents invited to give feedback on College Drive/Highway 19

WILLMAR, Minn. - MnDOT District 8 and the City of Marshall is looking for input on College Drive/Highway 19 in Marshall.  Marshall community members are invited to give their input by taking a short survey available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/marshallvision. The survey is part of an overall visioning effort which started last week with two community visioning meetings held on October 15 at the Marshall Lyon County Library.
MnDOT is looking at reconstructing Highway 19/College Drive in Marshall in 2025 and wants the community's ideas and thoughts before the project is developed.
The short survey takes less than five minutes to complete and asks community members what is important for College Drive/Highway 19 as well as their input on what key issues should be addressed when planning the roadway project.
Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) invites and encourages participation by all. We believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to enjoy the programs, services and activities we provide.
For more information and to sign up for project updates, please visit www.mndot.gov/d8/projects/hwy19marshall.
