Minnesota Pipeline

The Minnesota PIPELINE ( P rivate  I nvestment,  P ublic  E ducation,  L abor and  I ndustry  E xperience) Program is an innovative approach to address current and future workforce needs. It serves as a catalyst for developing industry-based, employer-driven, dual-training programs throughout the state.

The program targets four high-growth industry sectors with limited experience with Minnesota's apprenticeship system:
By leveraging Minnesota's success with registered apprenticeship and focusing on the targeted industries, the PIPELINE Program is assisting employers to change the question from "How do we get workers with the skills we need?" to "How do we  give workers the skills we need?" Dual training, like apprenticeship, is an earn-as-you-learn approach where the employer invests in its employee by building a training infrastructure, developing career pathways and investing in the employee's education.

The objectives of the PIPELINE Program are:
  • engage employers, educators, labor and public agencies to support employment-based education;
  • enhance Minnesota's skilled workforce; and
  • expand dual-training and registered apprenticeship in Minnesota

Help Red Cross Fill the Missing Types

Help Red Cross Fill the Missing Types

What if the letters A, B and O went missing? Pe ple w uld st p  nd n tice.

A's, O's and B's are also used to identify blood types and at times, they
do go missing from hospital shelves. As part of an international movement, the American Red Cross has launched the Missing Types campaign to raise awareness of the need for blood donors to ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients.
You can help!
  1. Make an appointment to give blood or platelets by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/MissingTypes, downloading the free Blood Donor App or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
  2. Bring a friend to donate with you.
  3. Encourage your friends and family to be the #MissingType by donating blood.
  4. Follow the Red Cross on social media and share messages about Missing Types with your friends and followers.

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood yet less than 3 percent of the population donates blood. Your support can help ensure patients continue receiving the lifesaving treatments they need. Thank you for helping save lives.
