Cheers to 121 Years of Fashion
Our great grandfather opened our first store 121 years ago. We have changed a lot over the years. We no longer carry wedding dresses, fishing rods, box fans, glassware, etc.; we do continue to sell great fashion.
Our commitment to serving you and being a part of your community has not changed since 1897. To mark this milestone we have an Anniversary Sale like none other. I would say the best in 121 years.
Tuesday 10/2 will be give-back Tuesday and 10% of the proceeds from sales will go to Polaris Project- Human Trafficking Prevention, St Jude Research Hospital, & The Humane Society of the United Sates.
We are proud to be a chamber member in all of our 65 communities.

Our community conversation will focus on this area of the state - specifically on Marshall and Southwest Minnesota - as it is now and how, by sharing visions and ideas for the future, we can create a state where equity drives growth through a thriving and inclusive economy.
This community meeting is one of many meetings that will be held around the state by Growth & Justice and OneMN.org. This Marshall meeting is being co-hosted by the Karen Organization of Minnesota - Marshall Office.
Now is our opportunity to influence the future vitality of our state as we help in the formation of new community and economic development solutions.

Marshall Community Services is looking for volunteer presenters for the 7
th Annual Moms' Expo! If you would be interested in being a small group presenter at the Moms' Expo on the evening of Thursday, March 21, 2019, please contact Danielle Wilts at

The goal of the Moms' Expo is to help mothers enjoy parenting and everyday life more: by finding balance, having realistic expectations of themselves and their children, and living in the moment. We are looking for local presenters to share tips and insights on a specific topic (finances, meal planning, balancing life, discipline, organization, etc.) that has made parenting more manageable and enjoyable for them. Each presentation will last approximately 50 minutes.
The Moms' Expo is a great opportunity to bring mothers together, reinforce a sense of camaraderie and build each other up!

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines and Policies
Newsletter Goals and Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our members' events with
other business and community members. It is an informational newsletter and helps to promote
our member businesses and their events.
Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to
the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.
Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
- Events flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We do not include sales or promotions.
- Events can be included in the E-Connection for 2 weeks Free of charge, and you have the option of adding one additional week for $10. 3 weeks is the max per event.

Submissions must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's
E-Connection to be included to [email protected]
- All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
Any Chamber member businesses events can be submitted to
the Chamber website as well
