With the month of January being observed as National Human Trafficking Awareness Month,
we are inviting you to participate in a community meeting.
When: Thursday, January 31st, 12:00 to 1:00 (lunch to be provided)
Where:
Lyon County Law Enforcement Center, 611 W Main St, Marshall, MN 56258 (basement meeting room)
Purpose:
Discuss the issue of exploitation in our community and to gauge the need and interest in creating a task force to develop a coordinated community response to exploitation and trafficking
As a vital partner working to create a community where our youth grow up healthy, safe, and free from harm, we hope you will attend.

A truly effective response by professionals to juvenile sexual exploitation requires agencies from the government and community-based sectors working together to develop a response that is unique to the forms exploitation takes in their communities.
